ZapFloor
Lending Flexibility to Workspace Management

“Our mission is to use workspace management software such that companies can turn their office buildings from cost centers into profit centers” says Thomas Celen, CEO of Zapfloor. The company—with its proprietary management app—allows companies to turn the office into a digital space. It gives the users a clear overview of meetings and any available dates, book desks at multiple locations, and track and curtail ghost meetings (meetings that are reserved but unattended). Zapfloor also helps companies who struggle to manage their work floor capacity due to the changes brought in by the pandemic. The app allows firms to increase or decrease the number of available desks at offices with just a few clicks of a button. Employees also can reserve desks for themselves using the app to minimize their risk of infection.
Our mission is to use workspace management software such that companies can turn their office buildings from cost centers into profit centers
From helping manage desks and meeting rooms (companies without physical offices) to overseeing community events, visitors, and facility services, the Zapfloor solution has a wide range of applicabilities. The app also expedites incident management within meeting rooms. For example, if there is a malfunctioning lamp in the room, users can take a photo with the app, which is then quickly redirected to the concerned facility manager.
Furthermore, in case the company expects visitors, Zapfloor helps management teams set up an appropriate reception and also serves as a tool that provides insights into visitor traffic such as their location in the building— allowing for efficient, uninterrupted workflow.
One of the key advantages of using the Zapfloor platform is that clients can add and manage data from multiple office locations using only one tool. The app’s capability to integrate with a plethora of tools allow users the flexibility to create a customized workspace, thereby expanding its functionalities beyond simply managing traffic on the work floor. Such was the case with a large enterprise that excelled at providing focused workspaces to corporates and SMEs. The seamless integration of Zapfloor with other software and hardware made it easy for users to adopt the platform across locations worldwide. “A company with +100k employees can now easily streamline their offices and workspace management with real actionable insights to improve the current and future offices” adds Celen.
Zapfloor helps large coworking spaces and corporates ensure that their buildings are efficiently managed with maximum capacity. Celen goes on to state that if a building does not meet this criterion, it inevitably turns into a cost sink. And, since managing occupancy is a complex problem that depends on multiple factors, Zapfloor’s flexibility in addressing each of those issues is crucial in securing organizational success.
