Most recently, we announced our expansion of imagery analysis and interpretation capabilities, as well as developments in our 3D modeling and simulation services. Recently, EVG was named a Top Ten Esri Consulting and Service Company by CIO Applications Magazine for our expertise utilizing Esri software and tools, especially as it pertains to cartographic workflows. In a recent example of such expertise, we identified a long-standing gap in Tanzania’s topographic map coverage at 1:50,000 scale. Utilizing Esri toolsets for production and combining administrative boundary data from the Tanzania Government with high-resolution imagery from Maxar, our team of cartographers was able to complete the mapping without having to set foot on the ground. The final result was 16 new topographic map sheets, filling in all gaps and completing Tanzania’s topographic map coverage at this scale for the first time in the country’s history.
Additionally, we are the exclusive provider of the award-winning LandScan Global Population Database. This database, developed and updated annually by Oak Ridge National Labs, is the world’s finest population distribution data depicting ambient population estimates over the entire world.
