Enabling The Development Of Worldwide Communications

Everyone in the telecom industry knows the benefits of 5G network automation. Efficiency skyrockets, the network is less expensive to maintain, and it resizes itself to fit subscriber demand. Thus, network reliability increases with a network that looks after itself. Along these lines, Sparkle aims to compete at an even higher level and not just as a telecommunication company but also as a security and digital services provider. Due to the recent technological shift in the telecommunication paradigm, international carriers like Sparkle must rapidly evolve their value-added services proposition on top of traditional infrastructure and capacity offering and create value for customers.

Today, Sparkle is working toward establishing itself as a premier telecom, leveraging its positioning on traditional services and data centre services and cloud offering developed and enriched in the last ten years. This has helped the company create value-added services on top of conventional communication services and value for customers. Sparkle’s data centres are an innovative and complete marketplace where customers can satisfy all their needs in terms of connectivity (local or global), hosting for their applications via a dedicated cloud local environment or directly connected to all major public cloud players, security services and get all the requested applications employing customized solutions or automation.

Each Sparkle global service platform’s purpose is to create matches and facilitate the exchange of services, thereby enabling value creation for all

Sparkle has already set up working groups and processes to be more agile, improving time to market. Banking on these enhanced capabilities, Sparkle will play a crucial role in Italy and globally. Also, continuing with its expansion plan, Sparkle wants to enforce its presence in Latin America by leveraging its investment in the Seabras-1 cable system, which connects Brazil and the US.

Sparkle has adopted user-friendly tools and procedures accessible directly from a customer portal, with the annexed marketplace, where customers can purchase what they need for their business—these range from essential support and cablings up to capacity and bandwidth on demand. Furthermore, Sparkle’s evolution toward a full data centre solution is now completed with cloud and disaster recovery platforms, solutions for corporate customers, ISPs, integrators and so on. The solutions developed directly by Sparkle or its partnership ecosystem are offered through automation processes and designed to provide and implement customized solutions to serve all customers’ needs. For instance, Sparkle introduced Li-ion technology or adopting adiabatic cooling and state of the art containment modules in all its data centres to help clients improve energy usage and efficiency.

Sparkle’s interactive ecosystem is intended for the creation and consumption of global communication solutions. A platform in constant evolution, it provides a communication infrastructure for the interaction between internal and external developers and global and local partners. Sparkle sets governance conditions for the interaction of five communities (IP&Data, Cloud & Data Center, Enterprise, Mobile, Voice). Each Sparkle global service platform’s purpose is to create matches and facilitate the exchange of services, thereby enabling value creation for all. With an eclectic list of achievements over half of the last century, the company has built a promising roadmap with a keen focus on Infrastructure, one of its core competencies. The company plans on enriching its PoPs (points of presence) with additional capabilities to offer solutions rich in all kinds of local propositions.
