Scott Cannon, Director and CEOFounded in 2017, Solidus Technologies is a blockchain and AI technology solutions provider that has made great strides in developing software that optimise hardware to enhance profitability, consuming lesser energy while running more efficiently.
Solidus Technologies ‘green computing’ alone does not signify its prominence in today’s AI and blockchain marketplace. Possessing the ability to mine cryptocurrencies 26 percent faster than its competitors, the company today offers proprietary AI technology coupled with infrastructure-as-a-service. “A lot of individuals and industries are now relying on AI and HPC. We also believe that blockchain is the future; we have invested heavily for it,” states Cannon. Solidus Technologies brings these noteworthy capabilities to the fields of aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, and scientific research as well. Furthermore, Solidus Technologies is currently building a massive data center by entrusting all technical responsibility to Soft Galaxy, a hardware and software optimisation expert with over 20 years of experience.
The company is presently catering to the needs of defence organisations that specialise in anti-terrorism. In this case, Solidus Technologies’ HPC infrastructure is built to help these public and private enterprises develop new, digitalised solutions that protect national borders, airports, city streets, and schools by detecting suspicious activity and packages. On a more personal level, Cannon and his team work with firms in the medical sector to develop solutions for ophthalmologists and vision care consumers.
Most of Solidus Technologies’ goals are centered around the future. “We develop technology that will last beyond our lifespan,” expresses Cannon. With its Microsoft partnership and the recent 100 million Euro contract from Optoelectronica, the company is well on its way to materialise this vision. Closely observing the completion of its 8000 square foot Data Center, Solidus Technologies intends to house 24,000 GPUs—and someday 40,000—to rival some of the biggest players in the field today. The company intends to deliver the capabilities of HPC to all at extremely affordable rates, with bolt-on solutions that streamline an organisation’s every operation.
