Over the last two decades, the overall business ecosystem has been gradually transitioning their data and software application postures to open source owing to the enhanced flexibility it offers. With this example, he perfectly illustrates how bigger businesses have to either spend a lot of time securely backing up their data or opt for the equally time-consuming creation of a safety pipeline to transfer data. As an antidote to this challenge, Repostor offers its Snap Protector product, which enables large organizations to recover their data within a couple of minutes. The product achieves this by taking a snapshot—an instance of a database’s posture at any given moment—of the status a business’ data infrastructure every five minutes. Therefore, in cases where a database gets corrupted due to malicious hacking or other reasons, Snap Protector helps a company recover their data from a local copy efficiently and quickly. At the same time, Repostor’s Data Protector product enables customers to back up their data at remote data storages to restore it in case the main database faces outage or failure. “With Snap Protector, our clients can remain ready for a quick recovery in case of emergencies while Data Protector can ensure the long-term protection of their databases,” states Klamer.
