Qintesi
Easing Digital Transformation through Recognised Best Practices

Angelo Amaglio, PresidentQintesi serves clients ranging from large multinational groups to prominent insurance companies and medium-sized manufacturing firms. Despite their varying sizes, these entities share fundamental needs, including global competitiveness, ESG practices, compliance and streamlined supply chain automation.
The firm supports these requirements by leveraging modern business software applications and top-tier technology platforms like SAP, Kyriba and Google. Its longstanding collaboration with SAP, along with its more recent partnership with Google for predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), strengthens the firm’s capabilities. These partnerships, both in Italy and internationally, enable the company to effectively assist its clients in adopting top-tier solutions.
Migrating from on-premise SAP systems to the cloud is a significant challenge for many companies due to the rapid evolution of technology. Companies that adopted SAP a decade or more ago can now benefit from new solutions like the business AI embedded in SAP’s standard modules. This can be achieved by migrating to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, using programs like RISE or GROW with SAP, which offers private and public cloud options.
Qintesi has developed a specific approach to simplify and expedite these migration projects, either through greenfield or brownfield methodologies. The greenfield focuses on starting from scratch, while the brownfield involves converting existing data and applications from on-premise systems to the cloud.
The firm also employs agile project methodologies to achieve concrete and measurable results within fixed deadlines. This is driven by the acknowledgement that clients require clear information and quick results; long projects spanning two or three years are no longer feasible.
Compliance is key for Qintesi’s services, as it focuses on specific areas, notably legal, accounting and regulatory aspects. For instance, due to the introduction of the IFRS16 accounting standard, companies using SAP Real Estate Management faced significant changes in asset valuation. The firm has analysed the requirements of these new accounting standards and developed a model based on the functions embedded in SAP modules. This approach exemplifies its vertical strategy, which entails starting with a standard module and tailoring it to the client’s individual requirements.
Our focus is not solely on technology but on the quality and experience we bring to each project, drawing on our extensive experience from numerous projects over the years
“Qintesi’s philosophy, encapsulated in our name—’q’ for quality, ‘in’ for innovation, ‘te’ for technology and ‘si’ for simplicity—defines our commitment,” asserts Angelo.
Since its inception, the firm has emphasised quality as a core value, which is evident in every aspect of its work, results and relationships with colleagues and clients. Its approach to innovation drives the company to manage change and seize new opportunities. Digital technology serves as a lever to capitalise these opportunities, enabling clients to transform their operations in ways that were previously considered unimaginable.
Simplicity at Qintesi means designing user-friendly and accessible solutions, even within the complexities of platforms like SAP. Its team strives to make technology intuitive and beneficial for everyone, regardless of their technical proficiency.
Reflecting on these core values, Amaglio addresses his team as Qintesians. This team of 400 specialized professionals, craft value-added solutions according to each client’s unique needs. Organized into over 10 units known as competence centres, they specialize in areas like finance, treasury and manufacturing. Notably, the meeting room at the new headquarters, Kilometro Rosso, has been renamed as ‘Progressio,’ symbolizing the company’s commitment to its people and progress.
‘People shaping solutions’ is not just a motto for Qintesi; it’s a way of life, guiding everything it does.
