POST Group
Enabling Global M2M Connectivity

Klaus Fuchs, Head of International SalesWith an aim to be a key player in the field of Information and Communication Technology, POST Group offers services that encompass fixed/mobile telephony, providing Internet access, and delivering tailor-made services for clients. Case in point, POST offers eSIM solutions that allow customers to manage several profiles on the same device. This use case comes in handy for companies managing large fleets of devices, especially for international deployments, where physically changing SIM cards is impossible. Also, devices in countries that prohibit permanent roaming, such as Brazil and China, can capitalise on the flexibility of POST’s eSIM technology to seamlessly change between mobile network operators (MNOs). POST also provides technology that helps substantially reduce operating costs for IoT devices.
We have founded partnerships with all MNOs from every country in Europe (European Union and EFTA states), and we are also engaged with multiple network providers in Asia, North- and South America; actually everywhere in Canada and the USA
POST’s goal to establish global connectivity has fostered a widespread and well-connected roaming partner network. “We have founded partnerships with all MNOs from every country in Europe (European Union and EFTA states), and we are also engaged with multiple network providers in Asia, North and South America; actually everywhere in Canada and the USA,” adds Fuchs. As a global player in the M2M/IoT segment, POST aims to provide the right technology that meets the customer’s needs while also enabling global coverage at minimal costs. “Provisioning broad network coverage is mission-critical for IoT devices in any industry,” says Fuchs. To achieve this, POST Group has partnered with Cisco (Cisco IoT Control Centre) to offer a complete and connected device management platform tailormade for IoT purposes. The company then processes the data gathered with its IoT analytics tool and provides users with a dashboard that gives them a clear overview of cost control, automated lifecycle management, inventory management, and much more. “In our efforts to create a dedicated and connected mobile infrastructure for IoT, we are one the very few MNOs that actively provides an advanced analytic solution to the customer,” states Fuchs.
POST’s services that allow for global coverage are the lynchpin to its partnership with its powerhouse client—PSA Peugeot-Citroën, Europe’s second-largest car manufacturer. PSA developed e-call services in their vehicles that required customers to install their own SIM cards. But the company also realised that managing the logistics behind the service was beyond their core expertise. As a result, the client was on the lookout for a partner that could not only help them build their business processes but also provide frictionless wireless services. POST Group delivered its Europe-wide connectivity services and managed the client’s logistics for more than 1.0 million PSA cars. As part of the collaboration, POST also leveraged its M2M Managed Connectivity Control Centre to grant PSA comprehensive insight into their connected car business.
As an M2M pioneer, POST Group is one of only a few companies that has years’ worth of managed connectivity experience. Agile and flexible, the company applies its expertise to design tailor-made solutions for almost any IoT business model. With POST’s capabilities, organisations can take advantage of new business opportunities while staying focused on their core mission.
