It is the use of digital technology by an organization to improve efficiency, add value, and enhance innovation across the organization.
FREMONT, CA: Change in any company tends to elicit resistance or fear. An organization's approach to the human side of a digital transformation project can make or break its success. When it comes to implementing new technology, each company proceeds at its own pace. A digital transformation strategy is a plan of action for an organisation to reposition itself in the digital economy. Customer habits, like the environment, are continually changing, and so should the way businesses function if they want to keep people interested and succeed. Successful companies innovate by utilising new technology to alter the way individuals work. However, top-down buy-in is required for a genuinely successful transition. Getting the company’s team on board by providing some education on how to deploy emerging technologies would encourage people to take action through adoption, and the type of creative thinking that this allows would result in the success of the company.
Consider practical scenarios to demonstrate the need for innovation to coworkers, such as going to Starbucks, purchasing groceries, or filling up the gas tank. Most consumers are unaware that they are engaging with BOTs that employ RPA, ML, and AI daily, paying with NFC and doing so from the Digital Operating Platform (DOP) in their hands. A BOT is a software application that automates repetitive activities. BOTs are used to take orders, similar to those done on phones for Starbucks. The program might also recommend or inquire about customers' previous purchases. This is achieved using Machine Language. By rendering a positive response, employees can navigate through their Starbucks app more quickly, place orders more quickly, and are more satisfied as end-users. Starbucks gains from upselling additional products, reducing the need for employees to collect orders from customers in line, reducing the time it takes to complete each transaction and improving fulfilment and customer experience. The majority of customers will exit the app on their phone or another DOP and pay in advance using Near Field Communication (NFC), Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any other comparable method.
