Sage and Spayne Lindsay have joined forces in a partnership that aligns their extensive consumer sector knowledge, investment banking transaction expertise, experience, and relationship networks.
FREMONT, CA: The Sage Group, LLC and Spayne Lindsay & Co. LLP have formed a strategic alliance that brings together their considerable consumer sector expertise, investment banking transaction expertise, experience, and network. Sage and Spayne Lindsay would build a unique independent worldwide investment banking partnership focusing entirely on the consumer industry, with 50 investment banking specialists. Sage and Spayne Lindsay have worked together on over 300 transactions worth tens of billions of dollars in Europe and the United States, including several well-known brands.
The CEO of the Sage group remarked that the calibre of bankers, industry understanding, culture and ethics of Spayne Lindsay has always been an admiration to the Sage group. The company is anticipating its clients to have access to even more resources and experience on a worldwide scale. The partnership is expected to provide specialised guidance based on in-depth industry knowledge, real-time market information, and long-standing ties with the world's most prestigious strategic buyers and investment funds.

With the partnership, Sage and Spayne Lindsay will offer a wide range of knowledge and expertise covering all areas of the consumer market, from apparel, footwear & accessories, and beauty & personal care to high-growth digitally native companies. In addition to Sage's experience in the U.S., Lindsay will also benefit from its ability to advise leading consumer brands. Similarly, Spayne Lindsay's knowledge of the European market and experience working with food, beverage, and restaurant businesses will benefit Sage.
In addition, the partnership will have access to a global network of affiliated firms in Asia, Central Europe, and Africa which will provide customers with a global sector expert advice service led by highly experienced partners. Both Sage and Spayne Lindsay would stay independent, but by collaborating, a consumer advisory powerhouse with a global reach throughout the consumer industry will be formed.
