Rohde & Schwarz is offering a full 2-port handheld vector network Analyzer up to 2.6 GHz called the R&S ZNH.

The Analyzer will help detect and rectify defective RF cables and communication systems. It comes with fundamental functions, such as cable and antenna measurements and full 2-port S-parameter measurement. The analyzer also consists of a built-in receiver step attenuator at both ports that protects the device from overloading. The R&S ZNH 4-receiver architecture holds unknown through, open, short, and match calibration. It has an efficient RF-performance feature such as low trace noise, 100 dB dynamic range, and 0 dBm typical maximum output. These features make the Analyzer ideal for installing and maintaining RF communication systems and characterizing basic RF components. Supplementary R&S ZNH options such as a power meter, pulse measurement, wave ratio, and wave quantities enable field engineers to maintain and swiftly restore radar and satellite systems.
It weighs just 3Kg, the R&S ZNH has a small form factor, fanless design, and very long battery life which makes it convenient for use in the field. The 7 inches multi-touch display employs smart touch gestures which are similar to that of smartphones. It is easy to operate and user-friendly. Even novice users can utilise the Analyzer without prior training. It also includes a wizard function that enables pre-configuration of test sequences which reduces on-site errors.
Being handheld, the Analyzer is perfect for R&D labs, universities, and production lines, where the budget and space are inadequate, and one has to measure RF components in several environments such as filters, cables, connectors, antennas, and amplifiers.
