Localised Secures $6.5M in Series A Round of Financing

FREMONT, CA: Localised, an NYC-based ecommerce startup that helps local brands expand globally, raised $6.5m in Series A round of financing. The funding round was led by BGF, and Peter Jones, the leading entrepreneur in the UK and Ireland.
The company plans to use the capital to expand their business into the world’s top 20 ecommerce markets, across Americas, Europe, Middle East, and the rest of Asia, and to accelerate innovation in areas such as global pricing syndication, localised merchandising, and global CRM, while also expanding into new verticals.

Localised was founded in 2017 by Kris Green and Peter Jones. The company builds designs, hosts, operates, markets, and optimizes completely localised ecommerce experiences for brands in foreign markets. Localised is based in Toronto, New York City, Warsaw, London, Bucharest, and Hong Kong.
The company is reshaping how brands and shoppers transact across borders, currencies, languages, and cultures. Localised enables brands to go global by being local in every aspect as they produce entirely localised ecommerce sites in the world’s top markets in 20 days or less with just a product feed.
