FREMONT, CA: Although technologies have been tested and deployed on vehicles, there is still a strong consensus in the industry that sensors have many limitations and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) will be required to implement autonomous driving capabilities in vehicles. LeddarTech comes into picture here by addressing the challenges of effectively rendering LiDAR technology in automotive. Intending to reach at a wider audience with its flagship LiDAR platform, LeddarTech is participating in the series of North American conferences on LiDAR Auto and Mobility Technology through June with its senior executives delivering presentations.
The combination of proprietary technology and distinctive business approach provides LeddarTech a sustainable competitive advantage that is difficult for its competitors to overcome. “The future of the automotive market will be driven by advanced technologies that enable the automation of the vehicle. We aim to have our LiDAR technology deployed in production vehicles to enable active safety, driver assistance and, eventually autonomous driving capabilities,” remarks Charles Boulanger, LeddarTech’s CEO.
Frantz Saintellemy, president and COO of LeddarTech, will confer at Impulsion MTL International Fleet Forum on June 3rd in Montreal, Canada, to provide insights into upgrading fleets with advanced technologies and solutions to meet environmental, social, operational, and regulatory requirements.
