Kenza Ait Si Abbou and Professor Dr Miriam Meckel Set to Inspire at Tech Show Frankfurt 2025
According to the most recent Eurostat data, women make up only 19.4% of ICT specialists across the EU—a figure that highlights a persistent imbalance across the technology sector. As innovation accelerates, the call for more inclusive leadership has never been more urgent.
Tech Show Frankfurt 2025 is stepping up to help meet that challenge, platforming voices that reflect the complexity, diversity, and responsibility of the modern tech landscape.
This year’s keynote speakers, Kenza Ait Si Abbou and Professor Dr Miriam Meckel, bring two distinct but complementary visions on inclusive innovation, ethical AI, and the human dimensions of digital transformation.
Leading Through Complexity: Kenza Ait Si Abbou
An award-winning AI expert, engineer, and bestselling author, Kenza Ait Si Abbou has built her career around breaking down technical and societal barriers. She currently serves as CTO and board member at Fiege Logistics, driving transformation at the intersection of emotional AI, innovation, and inclusive technology.
Born in Morocco and educated across Spain, Germany, and China, Kenza’s international career spans hardware, software, agile leadership, and systems transformation.
Her latest book, Menschenversteher, examines how artificial intelligence can both reflect and reshape society. It was shortlisted for the Deutscher Wirtschaftsbuchpreis 2023, and cements her status as a leading voice for ethics, inclusion and diversity in emerging tech.
More details about Kenza’s keynote session at Tech Show Frankfurt will be announced soon.
Building the Social Contract for Human-AI Collaboration
Professor Dr Miriam Meckel, expert in communication, technology, and leadership, will deliver a keynote on a defining challenge of our era: how to shape a meaningful partnership between humans and intelligent systems.
In her session, she will explore the emerging landscape of co-intelligence, where AI no longer functions solely as a tool but begins to exhibit agent-like behaviour. As these systems expand human capability in decision-making, creativity, and problem-solving, the need for a guiding framework—a social contract—becomes urgent.
Drawing on real-world research and examples from across sectors, Miriam will outline how ethical leadership, strategic foresight, and human values must drive the next wave of innovation. Her keynote offers a call to action: to lead AI development not just with technological ambition, but with responsibility, trust, and societal purpose.
The keynote presence of Kenza and Miriam reflects not just their global influence, but a deliberate commitment from Tech Show Frankfurt to prioritise inclusion, representation, and shared leadership in its programming.
Building a More Inclusive Future, Together
This commitment is carried forward through the show’s dedicated platform, Empowered @ Tech Show—an evolution of the Women in Tech initiative launched in 2023. Over the past two years, this initiative has brought together leaders from Google, LinkedIn, ING Deutschland, Porsche MHP, and more, to explore critical issues like:
• Ethical AI design through an equity lens
• Resilience and mindset shifts for women in leadership
• Creating opportunities for non-STEM communities
• Shaping inclusive digital governance for the next generation
Now in 2025, Empowered @ Tech Show seeks to move beyond an annual event into a movement—one that unites individual networks and voices into a collective push for industry-wide change.
“The progress we’ve made is remarkable, but there’s still work to be done. Empowerment should be an everyday celebration—not confined to an event on #InternationalWomensDay,” said Noha Salama, MBA PMP, Germany Chapter Director at Women in Tech – Global Movement.
