IAAS ICT ticket to buy

At the beginning of the history of IT, all companies raced to get ICT skills in-house. Then the complexity increased and slowly system integrators were born that put together the different vendors hw and sw making them work and collaborate. Today the specialization of skills is such that the only thing that can be kept internally is the management and coordination of software related to the core business.

The key element of our Data Storage and Data Security offering is our IAAS Infrastructure As A Service and Security As A Service. The business of organizations is based on their products and services, and often software is the engine of it all. Software manages data, which is now the company's primary asset. The infrastructure simply "has to go." But now we're in the situation where organizations are struggling to understand that they need to spend money on infrastructure and security, until a cyber attack makes them realize that without infrastructure, they can't work. That's when many ask us for an IAAS solution to stay focused on their core business and to ask us to think about the ordinary and extraordinary management of servers, storage, backups etc.. And security has become the same thing: a monitoring and management service that prevents and intervenes in case of need.

Our approach to work is always the same: “we’ll remember people, not business”. Our human approach to customer/supplier relations is the fundamental difference. Every product has merits and demerits: it's the people, women and men, who make it work at its best. This is the logic of service: if a product doesn't do its job, I have to change it to provide a quality service. It is no longer a customer's problem, but ours, to provide services at the level of the customer's expectations.

One of the things we always emphasize is that with us, customers have a direct relationship with everyone, technicians and salespeople: they don't have to go through a call center! This is the limitation of large organizations: the call center. Instead, we base everything on human relationship.

The second winning element is that all our IAAS services are flat rate: we never work Time and Material, and everything is always included, that is, an unlimited number of interventions. This creates a win-win relationship whereby the client is assured of costs and can measure our level of service. We have every interest in preventing rather than chasing problems: this increases our margins and gives us resources to invest further.

I want to tell a success story. Univergomma is one of the largest and most important tire distributors in Italy. They had purchased DataCore technology for the management and business continuity of their information system from one of our competitors. After a period of incorrect management of the environment, we were invited to take over the management of the infrastructure directly from the vendor. The customer has changed his life: he no longer has a product vendor, but a data center infrastructure management provider. The customer gets used to this model, today on-premise, tomorrow in hybrid or full cloud. The customer pays for a service and values it for what they receive, with no surprises. Infrastructure management in the IAAS model, secures data, and makes it a key piece of business productivity.

I believe the fundamental and unique feature of 3CiME Technology's services is IAAS service at a flat price. Security as a Service and IAAS Managed Infrastructure as a Service. It's like paying an insurance premium; we hope we never need it, but if we do, we're very glad we signed up for it.
