Hybrid Cloud Solutions: Creating a Sustainable Future for IT
Hybrid cloud is the new front line for corporate enterprises to do business. It is a cloud computing environment that uses both private cloud services as well as public cloud services. Cloud technology has merely become the latest tool in solving problems of specific interest. It portrays a different angle from how the traditional IT works, by enabling a more independent approach to business IT. But the understatement is, the hybrid cloud had to be under surveillance and managed with an understanding of how IT works, with the wise spending of money and how different pieces interact with each other.
Effectively building and managing the multi-cloud environment presents a lot of challenges to the enterprise. With different requirements and infrastructures for each enterprise, the management tools have to meet both the needs of the business unit as well as the IT organizations. Just because cloud changes the method in which IT is approached, it does not necessarily eliminate the issues of managing an enterprise IT.
Thomas Kurian pleaded with Oracle to make their products readily available on competitive cloud platforms. It is a good solution if the consumer is an already existing Oracle customer.
Hybrid cloud management (HCM) has certain key features. Flexibility, the availability of both, a secure resource and a scalable, cost-effective public resource, can supply organizations with more opportunities to explore different operational avenues. Scalability, while certain private clouds services offer particular levels of scalability depending on their configuration, public cloud services provide it with minimal boundaries as the resource is obtained from more significant cloud infrastructures.
By opting to give non-sensitive content to public cloud services, it allows an organization to benefit from public cloud scalability and in turn reducing the demand for private cloud. Cost efficiency, the public cloud offers a more significant scale of economy and thus increases the cost efficiency when compared to that of private clouds. Hybrid clouds allow organizations to access these savings for different business functions, all the while keeping sensitive content safe. The cloud model also protects certain key operations but also satisfies regulatory requirements for data handling and storage.
Considering all of the information up in the cloud, not every piece of personal data should be up there publicly. This is the main reason why enterprises opt for a hybrid cloud service.
