Here is how fintech companies are protecting themselves from data leaks
Fremont, CA: Most of us have been affected by lockdowns and the fear of traveling to crowded locations, but not fintech companies. Europe, for example, has seen a 72 percent increase in fintech adoption. However, such a blessing might come with unwelcome consequences, the most serious of which are new security challenges.
The COVID-19 era is complex, and not all of its issues can be remedied by donning a mask and coughing into your elbow. Cybercrime is more sophisticated than ever, with a new attack occurring every 39 seconds; unfortunately, finance firms are among hackers' preferred targets.

How Companies Can Protect Themselves from Data Leak
If a corporation is hacked and loses its user data, the consumers' money is jeopardized. That is why a breach is so serious - a company's image for security can suffer as a result of a hack.
To protect their clients' privacy, businesses use techniques such as cryptograms, which track the data they receive to determine if it is indeed coming from the client. But even this isn't enough to cover all areas; any flaw in the company's platform's code can be exploited.
That is why corporations use AI fuzzing, which is effectively an AI that is used to detect and exploit flaws in the company's software. This machine-learning system assists the company's IT department in closing these flaws before cybercriminals do.
Hackers, of course, utilize the same AI fuzzing. This is why they are in a never-ending race with the companies they are attempting to break - whoever discovers the exploit first wins everything. Furthermore, security professionals are required to oversee this process, and they are not cheap - developing a team incurs many costs, which young businesses find difficult to handle.
