Hexagon AB, the sensor giant acquires TACTIWARE to advance its surveillance solutions
FREMONT, CA: Hexagon AB, a globally renowned provider of sensor, software, and autonomous solutions, has acquired TACTICAWARE, a major provider of LiDAR-based 3D surveillance software, utilized to conduct monitoring, and protect critical infrastructure and buildings such as power plants, airports to commercial and residential buildings.
TACTICAWARE's flagship solution, Accur8vision, is a volumetric detection security system that also offers 3D surveillance. This flagship solution is strides apart from conventional systems that usually only monitors perimeter. Accur8vision also has the special feature of delivering situational awareness of the intruder's precise location, size, speed and movement trajectory - all of which can be seamlessly visualised within a 3D digital reality of that particular area under surveillance.
