FREMONT, CA: Premier global logistics provider, Dachser Chile, reported a 35 percent increase for its weekly LCL service from Hamburg, Germany, to San Antonio, Chile. The company is likely to expand to meet the growing demands of the market. Dachser Chile's weekly LCL service offers a reliable 30 to 32-day port-to-door transit time, which has attracted companies seeking solutions to help plan, optimize, and manage their supply chains. The Hamburg - San Antonio LCL service is the latest addition to Dachser America's robust LCL service portfolio that addresses the challenges presented by the current ocean and air freight disruption.
"With the steadily increasing LCL cargo volumes from Europe to Chile, we were confident we could support our own consol box. Dachser Chile's ability to offer a predictable schedule in the midst of a highly unpredictable marketplace has sparked demand that has surpassed our expectations," said Frank Habermann, Managing Director, Dachser Chile. As a result of the current ocean transport disruption, more and more customers are turning to the reliability and convenience of the Dachser Chile LCL service to move cargo from Europe to Chile. One of the companies benefitting from the LCL service is Outotec, a leading supplier within the mining industry, a sector that is critical to the Chilean market. The success of Dachser's latest addition is a result of the coordination between the Dachser management teams in Chile and Germany. With this consolidated maritime freight service, Dachser collects container shipments from several European countries and consolidates the freight at its warehouse in Hamburg. The load then departs from Hamburg to its final destination, San Antonio.
Leveraging the company's robust network of logistics, it connects Germany, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia to the Chilean market. By continually expanding its global reach, the company is creating ideal conditions for keeping goods moving along the supply chain with its proven logistics capabilities.
"By offering weekly LCL consolidation box service from Hamburg to Chile, Dachser is enabling customers to take greater control of their supply chain with flexible shipping choices that address their challenges. Our internal systems and strong global network enable the enhanced control of cargo flow, information flow, speed, accuracy, cost efficiency and reliability," added Mr. Habermann.
