
Clarilis Secures £6M in Series B Round of Financing

Co-founded by brothers James Quinn and Kevin Quinn, Clarilis provides automated drafting technology. The CLARILIS platform aims to automate complex suites of precedents, such as Facility Agreement and Share Purchase suites with many ancillaries, many parties, and complex underlying deal structures.
FREMONT, CA: Clarilis, a UK-based legal technology company, closed a further £6m ($7.84m) in Series B funding round.
Investors included the Northern Venture Capital Trust Funds (VCTs) managed by Mercia, and Gresham House Ventures, investing on behalf of the Baronsmead VCTs. Gresham House Ventures invested £3.5m ($4.57m), and Mercia’s Northern VCTs invested £2.5m ($3.26m). The company plans to use the capital for ongoing growth and international expansion.

Launched in 2015, Clarilis now serves a client base, including Addleshaw Goddard, National Grid, Baker McKenzie, and Slaughter and May.
