Analysis Beyond Numbers

In our data-driven age, all businesses work with KPIs and other measurements; but it is possible to go deeper than the mere numbers. This is precisely what Neticle—an innovative company developing media monitoring and text analysis solutions—intends to demonstrate. Neticle’s goal is to show the reasons behind these numbers, to uncover what a change from four stars to three means. Neticle provides text analysis solutions to businesses in a multitude of languages.

"Our text analysis engine can be integrated into
workflows as a useful addition to monitoring, reports, and analyses"

“There is a wealth of information waiting to be discovered in internal and external textual data, such as reviews, emails, tickets, and social media posts. It is possible to learn from them, identify a company’s strengths, clients’ pain points and create action plans based on these. Neticle has highly precise solutions for more complex and less wide-spread languages. The text analysis engine can be integrated into workflows as a useful addition to monitoring, reports, and analyses,” says Peter Szekeres, Co-Founder and CEO, Neticle.

Data Analytics Solutions with Human-Level Precision

Neticle’s human-level (85-90 percent) precision stems from its first built framework for Hungarian, an overly complicated language with free structure and many suffixes. This provided a significant advantage: it was easy to adapt the framework to other languages. The other key element was combining machine learning with strictly supervised learning (which means being tested and taught by native speakers). The latter was necessary so that the system can handle exceptions and memorable phrases very well.
While language continues to change over time, Neticle’s framework learns from online, contemporary content to ensure that changes (such as slang, metaphors, new words, and emojis) are integrated immediately.

Neticle covers many European languages at the same level of precision (including many that no other product does), and provides the necessary specialist support to design, implement and operate the integrated system

This high precision brought about by Neticle is imperative in enterprise environments and also instrumental in:

● identifying sentiment to know how clients/colleagues are feeling,

● categorising data so that incoming tickets/emails are automatically forwarded to a department or person,

● alerting when a negative situation arises in communication with clients on any platform, and intervention or escalation is critical.

Neticle’s technology applies a sentiment score to each limb of a sentence, identifies entities (such as key places, people, and organisations among others) and topics, and unique categorisations can also be added in a short time. Customer support teams can easily set up custom email routing rules based on these functions, for example.

An Emphasis on Consultancy

Enterprises in the retail, insurance, banking, or telecommunication sector, for example, have a large customer base and their level of digitalisation is continually rising. They take customer experience very seriously and are open to text analysis solutions. However, they need the expertise to integrate it into their processes and select the best methodology.

The market is replete with many great products to choose from. For a company introducing a new IT system, it needs a solution for all its subsidiaries across many countries. This is where Neticle marks its prominence. “Neticle covers many European languages at the same level of precision (including many that no other product does), and provides the necessary specialist support to design, implement and operate the integrated system,” states Szekeres.

With a strong value proposition in place, Neticle has scripted numerous success stories for its clients with its highly versatile products. For an Indonesian client, Neticle’s tool has recently learned to handle Indonesian slang and has been analysing the company’s gigantic social media database historically and in real-time. Neticle is also proud of the Lingusta project where the automatic analysis of email topic lines was paired with a predictive model to forecast effectiveness and opening rates. In yet another impressive feat, Neticle is working with system integrator companies who employ Neticle’s API to analyse transcripts of phone calls.

The future is bright for Neticle, which aims to complete European language coverage by the end of the first quarter of 2021. At the moment, the understanding and coverage of Scandinavian languages is in the fine-tuning phase.
