It is an all-in-one product with a focus on Web Application Firewall and API Security. The Shield protects a webpage both against standard attack types and new cyber threats. To activate the shield (protection), no changes are required to the applications as the entire HTTP/ HTTPS traffic is directed to the Grey Wizard filtering layers.

One of the areas that the Grey Wizard Shield focuses on is DDoS protection. To employ this protection, the company built an infrastructure based on Anycast, which allows distributing attacks between scrubbing centers. This type of architecture enables Grey Wizard to scale horizontally, working as a reverse proxy server, so the attacks are mitigated straight away on the edge of the infrastructure.

The multinational company faced two pressing cybersecurity issues, threatening their business model—one with DDoS attacks and the second one with credential stuffing (Distributed Brute Force Attacks), which were much harder to detect.

After testing numerous solutions, the gaming giant approached Grey Wizard for its superior services.
