Every year, the firm produces 25.6 million rear-view mirrors which are designed in accordance with vehicle style requirements, standards, and quality regulations. The product line includes exterior rear-view mirrors, interior rear-view mirrors, and IRMS (intelligent rear-view monitoring system).

By collaborating with Panasonic, Ficosa has also developed advanced intelligent interior mirrors that can function both as a camera or a standard rear-view mirror. The offering improves the driver’s field of vision, and the image processing software underpins various other functions of the mirror.

Furthermore, as a part of the Ficosa Group, the firm has an Industrial Vehicle Business Unit for developing and producing all mirror series and mirror systems for commercial and industrial vehicles. The unit provides comprehensive expert advice for developing cutting-edge vehicle mirror concepts and driver assistance systems. Ficosa works as a system supplier together with leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, motor homes, tractors, and agricultural machinery.

Over the years, the firm has continually focused on innovation and created several R&D centres in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia to lead the transformation of the automobile space and give optimum customer experiences. These centres specialise in specific services and products while being located near their customers’ bases to serve them better.

Moreover, as a part of its expansion plans, Ficosa reinvigorated its presence in Portugal by adding new facilities to Ficocables. Founded in 1972, Ficocables was the first venture of the firm outside Spain’s national borders. To expand the efficiency and production capacity in Portugal, and to improve the workplace; the firm invested €5 million in Ficocables. With the new facilities, Ficosa aims to fuel its armoury and supplement the services of its clients.
