Concord
One-stop-platform for Holistic Contract Management

Matt Lhoumeau, CEO, ConcordMatt Lhoumeau, CEO
Matt Lhoumeau, CEO of Concord, remembers to this day, how during the early days of his career, managing large volumes of contracts had been a herculean task owing to the lack of relevant tools. For instance, a project that he was working on required the renegotiation of 500+ vendor agreements, which, at the time, took six month—one month to simply locate the contracts by manually searching through boxes, emails, and file cabinets; one month to read and manually track the contents of these 500 contracts in a massive spreadsheet, and 4 months to manage every single renegotiation. Lhoumeau mentions that even today, several organizations pay a similar price in time and resources in manually managing contracts. “I set out to transform how we work with contracts and make sure no one ever had to manage contracts manually again,” he mentions. And this led to the conception of Concord, whose sole purpose is to simplify contract management with one tool. “It is about providing an intuitive experience for all users while delivering a holistic solution and immediate value for organizations—which means getting all users onboarded in just a couple of weeks, not months,” he adds.

Today, in the wake of enterprises in haste to modernize outdated systems and make work more collaborative, the legal tech space in particular needs seamless contract management solution.

It’s more than a contract management platform. It’s a contract success platform

“This isn’t a new concept for us as our goal has always been to automate contract management in order to simplify the process,” states Lhoumeau. To this end, Concord makes the process simple as its approval workflow can be automatically routed to a certain team or person based upon the content of a specific field in a document. So, for instance, if an employee wants the sales manager to approve all contracts over a specific amount, he/she can set up the approval workflow to automate this process.

At its core, Concord offers a cloud-based contract lifecycle management platform that is changing the way the world is creating, negotiating, signing and managing contracts. As an all-in-one platform, Concord is simple to use and works with any contract, across an entire company—every department and every employee—and is the only platform to automate and support the complete contract lifecycle, from online negotiation to e-signature, and contract follow-through.With robust features and multiple integrations with services including Google Docs, Salesforce, Dropbox, and Box, clients get a powerful solution that’s flexible, and able to meet unique organizational needs and use cases, while making growth and compliance synonymous. Concord retrieves agreements faster, saving clients time and money, and makes them more agile with at-a-glance contract management, automated notifications, and powerful analytics. As Lhoumeau puts it, “It’s more than a contract management platform. It’s a contract success platform.” Additionally, Concord employs state-of-the-art server architecture and secure, durable, and highly scalable processes to safeguard its customers’ data.

From the very beginning, Concord has been created to be an all-in-one solution for contract management. The customers use Concord to create contracts, negotiate and collaborate, sign, store, and manage renewals and deadlines. Not every contract management company offers all of these capabilities. “Our clients appreciate that they can grow with Concord. Oftentimes, clients come to us with a very specific use case and, once they start using it, they quickly see how other departments can benefit too, and quickly expand their usage,” informs Lhoumeau. “Concord was built to be used by all departments and it brings us immense satisfaction when we see our clients succeed using Concord.”
