ambrite
A New Approach to Applied Machine Learning

Volker Dietzel, Co-Founder & CEOFounded in 2016, around the time when ML for practical applications was still a nascent idea, ambrite is a cloud-native company that provides a digital assistant for businesses with strong analytics and predictive capabilities. “We did not want to develop yet another horizontal analytics platform. Instead, we focus on optimising the development and operation of any digital consumer services to improve customer satisfaction,” expresses Volker Dietzel, Co-Founder and CEO of ambrite.
“Our platform automates and digitalises the work of data analysts, making it readily accessible in real time for IT, service, and product managers across an organisation,” explains Dietzel. The solution also benefits software developers, as it consists of preconfigured verticals currently focusing on service providers in the telecommunication industry. The platform focuses on consumer products, increasing customer satisfaction while reducing costs, which bodes extremely well for scaling strategies. Additionally, ambrite supports its clients in the designing of desired enterprise architectures during digital transformation. ambrite’s customer care also shines through its technological prowess as the company’s AI detects and classifies system errors and root causes during service delivery in real time. The connected knowledge graph becomes the core of the client organisations’ AI-based customer process optimisation and includes conversational, highly interactive interfaces as well as more traditional integration in standard enterprise process tools like dashboards and checklists where needed.
To further elucidate on ambrite’s capabilities, Dietzel recalls the company’s association with most prominent clients in Switzerland, Germany, and Netherlands for telcos, service providers and cable operators. With the help of ambrite’s digital assistant, Dietzel and his team were able to successfully implement Brenda, an AI/ML framework, in the area of platform quality assurance for Swisscom. “This tool acts as the perfect assistant as it knows everything regarding all existing business processes,” he adds. And in the case of a Swiss Cable Operator, ambrite implemented an analytics platform to assume the role of a virtual team member in service operations and release management. The platform sends alerts when a process is going to need attention, and comprises many other predictive and proactive elements for customer-centric product development. ambrite’s solution also optimised decision-making functions for the client’s DevOps teams, which directly improved their overall workflow.
With such innovative solutions being pushed to the market, ambrite is set to revolutionise the business analytics realm with the power of ML. Moving forward, the company intends to continue investing in itself as a self-financed organisation and focus on building out it’s machine learning models for more verticals. This allows the company to stay flexible in an otherwise intricate facet of technology. 2020 and the years to come will witness a smoother delivery of ML resourcefulness via ambrite’s digital assistant for businesses across Europe and, eventually, the world.
